MICHELLE L. HASKIN APPOINTED TO STATEWIDE ADVISORY BOARD

Michelle L. Haskin, a Whiteman Osterman & Hanna partner, has been appointed by Chief Administrative Judge Joseph Zayas, to serve as a member of the Matrimonial Practice Advisory and Rules Committee of the New York State Unified Court System. The advisory committee includes distinguished representatives from both the bench and the bar. The Committee makes recommendations on legislative proposals as well as providing recommendations to the Chief Administrative Judge on pending legislative proposals; on court rules and court forms; as well as developing best practices to assist Judges, litigants and attorneys. The committee is chaired by Hon. Jeffrey Sunshine, Statewide Coordinating Judge for Matrimonial matters.   Haskin is the only practicing attorney representative from the 3rd Judicial District of the State of New York sitting on this committee. 

Haskin is co-chair of the WOH Matrimonial and Family Law practice group and practices exclusively in the field of matrimonial and family law, concentrating on divorce; custody, domestic violence, and interstate issues. She has extensive experience representing clients in both Supreme and Family Court, as well as negotiations of resolutions of these matters.
