New York State authorized the bidding of the three remaining casinos as part of the approved State budget. These casinos will be located on Long Island, in New York City, or in the Counties of Westchester or Rockland. It is likely that two existing facilities – Resorts World at Aqueduct Racetrack and Empire City at Yonkers Raceway – will be granted full casino licensure.
