With the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti in August, an impact personally felt by one of our colleagues, the Whiteman Osterman & Hanna team banded together to raise funds to assist the Little Footprints Big Steps Emergency & Recovery Response Fund (“LFBS”) to provide aid to Haitian families.  Located in Les Cayes, one of the regions hardest hit by the earthquake, LFBS is providing emergency kit distribution, supporting local child protection authorities in their response to protect children and prevent trafficking/separation, psychosocial support for separated children, and mobilizing and distributing supplies to address the needs of the most deeply affected survivors. The long-term recovery focus also involves housing repairs, business reinforcement, and mental health support.
