Whiteman Osterman & Hanna Presents Seminar on Data Security – Wikileaks, Tax Returns and Videotapes: Lessons Learned from the 2016 Presidential Campaign and Why They Matter to Your Business

On December 8, Whiteman Osterman & Hanna presented a Cybersecurity Breakfast Seminar in partnership with the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce.  Of Counsel Chris Meyer moderated an expert panel on data security, privacy, and cybersecurity issues that affect every business, big or small.

Utilizing the recent presidential campaign as a backdrop, the panel discussed the critical impact of lax data security, document theft and breaches of confidentiality that affected both candidates’ campaigns, and how these same issues affect businesses every day.

The expert panel included Dr. Sanjay Goel, Director of Research for NYS Center for Information Forensics and Assurance and Professor and Chair of Information Technology Management at UAlbany, Kathleen Kelleher, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Saratoga National Bank, and Gary Moon, Senior Security Analyst at Saratoga Hospital.
