Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP Announces New Summer Associates

ALBANY, N.Y. (June 25, 2019) – Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP, the Capital Region’s largest law firm, proudly welcomes three new Summer Associates: MacKenzie E. Brennan, Marcos Grael and Emma K. Lagle.   

Ms. Brennan of Loudonville, New York, graduated cum laude, from Villanova University with a B.A. in Communications and a Double Minor in Political Science and Spanish.  Ms. Brennan attends Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, is the Managing Editor of Research and Writing for the Villanova Law Review, and is also a Teaching Assistant for Federal Civil Procedure and Legal Writing. Previously, Ms. Brennan served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Chief Judge Juan R. Sánchez, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and as a legal intern with the New York State Office of the Attorney General, Appeals and Opinions Bureau.

Mr. Grael of Watervliet, New York, graduated with a B.A., valedictorian and summa cum laude, from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy at University at Albany (SUNY) with a Major in Political Science and concentration in Public Law.  Mr. Grael took a graduate course in Organization and Management of Events at the Anhembi Morumbi University, Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Currently, Mr. Grael is attending the Albany Law School of Union University.  Additionally, Mr. Grael is the Executive Managing Editor of the Albany Law Review.  Previously, Mr. Grael served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Mae A. D’Agostino, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of New York.

Ms. Lagle, of White Plains, New York, graduated cum laude from SUNY New Paltz with a B.A. in History & Sociology.   Additionally, Ms. Lagle is currently attending the Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies for a Master of Environmental Management with an anticipated completion date of May 2020.   Ms. Lagle attends Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University and participates in the Pace Environmental Law Review.    Previously, Ms. Lagle served as a judicial intern with the Honorable Lois Bloom, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.

The program offers law students an opportunity to gain invaluable legal experience and networking opportunities. Each year, Whiteman Osterman & Hanna receives resumes from students nationwide who are interested in becoming a summer associate.
