The Role:
WOH’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Group is seeking a paralegal to join its team. This position will support attorneys representing financial institutions, creditors, and debtors in financial transactions and creditors’ rights and bankruptcy matters.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare initial drafts of standardized loan documentation
- Perform Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) searches, prepare and file UCC Financing Statements and Amendments, and draft UCC summaries
- Organize and maintain documentation and communications between clients and attorneys, including inquiries, follow-ups, and responses to information requests
- Perform administrative tasks with supporting staff
Required Qualifications:
- College Degree, paralegal certificate, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
