Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP seeks associate with 3+ years of experience with debt finance transactions. Core responsibilities will include (i) drafting, reviewing and negotiating commitment letters, loan agreements, security documents and other ancillary deliverables, (ii) conducting legal research, (iii) managing deal teams and processes from initial discussions through closing and post-closing matters, and (iv) managing and conducting due diligence.
The candidate will support colleagues from within our corporate group, and be expected to take a lead on many of the day-to-day tasks involved in ensuring that deals are running smoothly, and will have a high degree of contact with clients, opposing counsel and other parties. The candidate must have strong time management skills, excellent drafting skills, and a strong professional presence. The candidate will handle an existing portfolio of corporate debt finance projects with the opportunity to continue to grow such practice with full support of our corporate group and our firm.
The candidate must be admitted to practice in New York have strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills. Send resume along with law school transcript and cover letter.
Compensation Range: $115,000 - $155,000 Annual Salary
