Whiteman Osterman & Hanna is seeking an associate attorney with 2 to 5 years of experience in labor and employment law. Experience in both employment-related litigation / arbitration (before courts, administrative agencies, and neutrals) and transactional employment work, including advice and counseling; wage and hours audits; federal and state employment law research and analysis of complex issues; preparation of employment-related documents, such as employment and severance agreements, workplace policies and procedures; and labor relations, bargaining, and grievances. Experience with education and higher education clients a plus. Candidate must be able to juggle multiple cases, be strategic and detail oriented. Successful candidate must have superior academic credentials, excellent writing skills, and be admitted to practice in New York.
