We are currently seeking an Assistant Controller.

The Role:

You will report to the COO/CFO and assist with matters including:

  • Management of all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P and Payroll
  • Preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
  • Managing of cash flow planning process and cash, investments and asset management
  • Review and preparation of year-end workpapers for external accountants in connection with review of financial statements and preparation of income tax returns
  • Review and ensure application of appropriate internal controls, escrow compliance and financial procedures including developing and documenting business processes
  • Oversight of software platforms to provide critical and timely financial and operational information
  • Accounts Receivable management and collection process
  • Support month-end and year-end close process and assist with timely preparation and review of month-end and year-end financial reports
  • Research technical accounting and tax issues for compliance as needed

Skills Needed for Success:

  • Thorough knowledge of accounting and tax principles and procedures
  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively


  • 5+ years of overall combined accounting, finance and tax experience
  • CPA license
  • Experience:
    • Financial statement preparation for all types of legal entities
    • General ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process
    • Preparing and review of partnership and payroll tax filings
    • Various accounting software administration
    • Experience with professional service organizations is preferred

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $100,000 annual
