Taylor C. Cuomo
Taylor C. Cuomo joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna as an associate attorney in September 2018. Ms. Cuomo was previously a summer associate with the Firm. She focuses her practice on all aspects of immigration law including litigation, family- based cases, and employment- based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processing. Her specialties include representing clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and Board of Immigration Appeals for removal/deportation defense and defensive asylum cases.
Ms. Cuomo is admitted to practice in New York State and is a member of the New York Bar Association, Albany Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Ms. Cuomo graduated magna cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University with her Juris Doctor. While in law school, Ms. Cuomo served as an Associate Editor of the Albany Law Review, legal intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York, and teaching assistant in Contracts, Constitutional Law and Criminal Law. Ms. Cuomo participated in the Karen C. McGovern Senior Prize Trials Competition, and was recognized individually as one of the competition’s Best Oral Advocates. Ms. Cuomo received a Bachelor of Arts Degree, summa cum laude, from Siena College with a major in Political Science.
