Abigail Sexton joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP in September 2025 and was previously a summer associate with the firm.

Ms. Sexton is admitted to practice in New York State and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Ms. Sexton earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University, where she earned leadership and scholarship positions as Treasurer for Moot Court and Executive Editor of the Albany Law Journal of Science & Technology. While at Albany Law, Ms. Sexton served as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure, Criminal Law, and Evidence, and gained hands-on experience representing clients in the Family Violence and Advanced Family Violence Litigation Clinics.

Before law school, Ms. Sexton earned a B.A. in History and Secondary Social Studies Education from the State University of New York at Potsdam and taught middle and high school social studies for three years. An Adirondack native, she frequently travels to her hometown of Tupper Lake to enjoy outdoor activities with family and friends.
