Cynthia-Clare Tagoe joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP in May 2026 as Of Counsel in the Firm’s Intellectual Property & Technology Transfer and Business, Corporate & Commercial practice groups. Ms. Tagoe focuses her practice on intellectual property, M&A transactions, commercial and technology transactions, data privacy and protection, risk management, and subsidiary management.

Prior to joining the Firm, Cynthia-Clare spent almost 18 years in various in-house roles including serving as General Counsel for QSC, LLC. She began her legal career at White & Case LLP where she represented clients in intellectual property litigations and domain name disputes, counseled clients on IP transactions, protection, enforcement, and licensing of trademarks, and provided support on intellectual property aspects of corporate and M&A transactions.

Ms. Tagoe is admitted to practice in New York, California, and the U.S. District Court, Southern Central, and Northern Districts of California. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Ms. Tagoe earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Case Western Reserve Unity School of Law. She earned her MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, and her BS, summa cum laude, in Water Resources Management from Central State University.

Cynthia-Clare is an avid soccer fan and plays the keyboard in a worship band.
