Arthur Nix joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna in September 2023 as an Associate in the Litigation and Labor & Employment Practice Groups. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nix served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Elizabeth A. Garry, Presiding Justice of the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Andrew G. Ceresia in New York State Supreme Court.

Mr. Nix is admitted to practice in the State of New York as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Nix graduated summa cum laude from Albany Law School of Union University with his Juris Doctor. While in law school, Mr. Nix served as the Executive Editor for Miscarriages of Justice of the Albany Law Review, a teaching assistant for first year Contracts students, and an intern in the Community Economic Development Clinic.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Nix received a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, concentrating in English Literature, from New York University. Mr. Nix was an educator in numerous experiential education roles before transitioning to the legal field.

Mr. Nix was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts and currently lives in Troy.
