Paul Davenport is a member of the personal injury, labor and employment, and commercial litigation practice groups. Mr. Davenport is an experienced trial attorney who has represented clients involved in catastrophic injury cases, construction site accidents, products liability claims, and employment discrimination and retaliation matters. He also provides counsel and training on labor and employment issues to both public sector and private sector clients, and has extensive experience litigating cases before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), the New York Public Employee Relations Board (PERB), as well as claims under Title VII, the American with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). As part of his commercial litigation practice, Mr. Davenport serves as general outside legal counsel to numerous contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers, and small and medium sized businesses providing a wide array of legal services including representation in State and Federal Courts and administrative agencies involving complex contract disputes, internal shareholder conflicts, and unfair competition matters. His practice has also expanded to representing clients in probate disputes in trust and estates matters.
Mr. Davenport is a member of the Schenectady County, Albany County, Capital District Women’s, American, and New York State Bar Associations, as well as the New York State Magistrates Association.
Mr. Davenport served as the elected Town Justice for the Town of Glenville and currently serves as a volunteer Fee Dispute Arbitrator for the 4th Judicial District.
Mr. Davenport graduated cum laude from Albany Law School and received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Siena College.
