Women's Forum
Recruitment and Retention

A primary goal of the Women’s Forum is the recruitment and retention of a diverse group of talented women lawyers. The Women’s Forum meets once a month to address issues important to women lawyers, to enable the Firm to understand better the challenges facing women lawyers, and to meet those challenges. Whether through formal presentations or informal brainstorming sessions, the Women’s Forum responds to its members’ concerns by providing valuable information and instruction on a wide range of topics, from networking and the development of strategic relationships to finding a healthy balance between personal and professional lives.

The Women’s Forum also provides an opportunity for the Firm’s women lawyers to get better acquainted. This has naturally led to valuable mentoring relationships among lawyers of all ages and experience levels and across the firm’s practice areas. Not surprisingly, our more senior attorneys have found this to be as valuable as our junior attorneys as it has resulted in rewarding personal and professional opportunities for all involved.

The success of Forum initiatives such as the Women’s Forum is evident in the Firm’s composition. For at least the last decade, approximately 30 percent of the Firm’s attorneys have been women.
