Katherine B. Herlihy joined Whiteman Osterman & Hanna in September 2008. Ms. Herlihy was previously a summer associate at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna. As part of the Government Relations Practice Group at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna, Ms. Herlihy has drafted key legislation and represented clients before the New York State Legislature, the Executive branch, and other state agencies in regard to a broad array of issues before state government.

Background

Ms. Herlihy, originally from Glens Falls, New York, earned her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law. While at Fordham Law School, Ms. Herlihy served as an Associate Editor of the Fordham Intellectual Property Law Journal and completed an internship with the Fordham Law Urban Policy Clinic. Prior to law school, Ms. Herlihy graduated cum laude from Amherst College.

Ms. Herlihy is admitted to practice in New York and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Adirondack Women's Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association.
