Christian H. Dribusch has been a partner with Whiteman Osterman & Hanna since joining the Firm in 2011. Mr. Dribusch primarily concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial workouts and bankruptcy. Mr. Dribusch’s clients have included financial institutions, bankruptcy trustees, and businesses.
Representative Accomplishments
- American Bankruptcy Certified, Business Bankruptcy, 2010.
- Appointed by the Office of the United States Trustee, a component of the United States Department of Justice to be a member of the Panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the Northern District of New York.
- Successfully represented a Chapter 7 trustee to recover a $2.6 million fraudulent conveyance.
- Successfully reorganized a multimillion dollar storage and moving company.
- Represented a not-for-profit health care system in the wind down of its operations through a liquidating plan in bankruptcy.
- Appointed an 1104 Trustee to oversee the multimillion dollar liquidation of a retail oil distribution and real estate holding company.
- As Chapter 7 Trustee, oversaw the liquidation of a national mortgage brokerage firm.
- Successfully represented a debtor in an objection to discharge case affirmed by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
- Represented numerous creditors in obtaining priority and administrative claim status in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
- Represented the Committee of General Unsecured Creditors in bankruptcy matters.
